Gotoh's 201B-4 bass bridge has the standard 19 mm string spacing with brass saddles. The individually intonatable, height adjustable saddles each run in slots in the bass plate to stop sideways movement of the saddle. The 5 fixing screws (included) provide maximum sustain and sound transmission to the guitar body. The top loading strings mount through the back of the bridge for quick and easy restringing.

Perfect replacement for vintage Fender
Easy direct replacement for plinky vintage style fender bridge. Unscrew 5 screws, swap bridges, do the screws up again. Looks nice. Not high mass, the design philosophy is stiff and resonant. Marginally improves sustain and brightness, but won't fundamentally alter the your tone. Action and intonation as easy to adjust as the standard fender (lots of replacement bridges are horrendously over engineered in this respect). Perfect.

Tight fit but good
If you use this on a Squire bass, the two outer screws will be a little tight so add a touch of wax or soap to the screw threads. Once installed it's a fine bridge.

Used the Gotoh bridge to upgrade my backup bass . It was a five minute job and it works very well and improved the sustain on my bass.
